This Privacy Policy explains how ContractLab (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Service.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and, if provided, your name and profile photo (via Google sign-in).
• Content: the contracts, inputs, and documents you create or upload for review.
• Usage data: basic, aggregate information about how you use the Service to enforce plan limits and improve the product.
• Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store only a customer reference and subscription status, never your card details.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To process AI generation and review requests you initiate.
• To manage your account, plan, and billing.
• To communicate important service updates.

AI processing

When you generate or review a contract, the relevant text is sent to the AI provider you select (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or xAI) to produce a response. We do not use your contract content to train models.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) and protected by row-level security so that only you can access your own contracts and reviews. We use industry-standard safeguards, though no system is completely secure.

Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your contracts at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at privacy@contractlab.app.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
